I have no one in life. I am a very attractive 34 year old person, a teacher with many many skills, like wood and metall work, cooking, fabric and needle work, technical and digital knowledge etc... But I come from a lot of hardships, chronic illnesses and surgeries, mental, physical and sexual abuse by many family members, best friend dies of suicide and many other losses etc... This video was really enjoyable. I like writing long essays about any dumb topic that randomly piques my interest but I'm struggling to write an accurate essay about this. I'm the youngest of 5 and I've had full internet access ever since I was a toddler on the computer and got my first phone when I was 8. I promise I wasn't spoiled, just stupid complicated divorce stuff. Ya know, weekend dad kidnapping stuff. The main problem is that only me and one other sibling used forums and we both have memory problems, being really young didn't help me much either. I'm only 15 now so they started dying out around the time I was 4 I wanna say. I'm normally very "by-the-book" about things and only write about more technical topics like science or history, which obviously have multiple recourses to research and write about. This essay is mostly just my own opinion and observation, that's not a credible source. I'm normally decent at finding things online but for some reason I haven't been able to find any proper credible works on the decline of internet forums and rise of social media. I'm also trying to argue that this directly lead into teenagers on the internet having identity issues and a complete lack of social awareness. This video is really appreciated because you were able to put a lot of my thoughts into words. I'm so sick of all these cookie-cutter personalities, "I'm so coquette, I hate y2ks, dni if ur preppy."... What the actual fuck are you guys talking about? Stop morphing your entire personality to fit one archetype you're a human being. This obsession with aesthetic curation or whatever it's called feels like a cheap ploy to get you to use social media and participate in over-consumption Not to mention how everyone is automatically so hostile. I have a bad case of diagnosed but untreated ADHD and autism so I tend to get overly-excited then overanalyze and ramble about the smallest things, and it's always met with such hostility that I feel wouldn't have existed as much if the internet were different. People tend to forget that there's so much more behind all these short videos than just what's directly stated. You go deeper into the topic at hand, hoping to have people converse with you about it, but instead you're either ignored or they come up with yet another soulless phrase to jab at you. "I ain't reading allat, it's not that deep, just watch the video" It sounds like a stretch but I whole-heartedly believe that the algorithm convinced these people that they shouldn't even begin to think intellectually about the media you consume. I could go so much deeper into this but I won't. I'm sorry if this is written badly, I've been editing this comment for like 20 minutes, trying my best to make it cohesive. I've been up for almost 24 hours with a nasty cold on top of a migraine. I have an old laptop with AMD A4 2-core CPU roughly equivalent to Core 2 Duo. Well, it is *usable*. Mostly because iGPU is still quite capable at UI rendering (modern Plasma 6 + Wayland session run smooth) and H264 decoding. But using it is kinda painful in comparison with modern PC anyway. Despite being upgraded with more than enough RAM (8G of DDR3) and SSD, it has significant struggle with relatively heavy apps and websites. You can get used to it of course and everyone has different level of discomfort tolerance. But I would pass on it and only use it as emergency fallback and totally not as a daily driver.

First system I installed Loonix on was Core 2 Duo Mac because I wanted it to be actually be usable and not laggy as shit, I was trying to install ChromeOS because I was retarded. I ended up installing Cub Linux which was shitty ChromeOS clone, I didn't know it was Linux honestly at first but I eventually distro hopped like 394,932,493 times. It was fairly usable back then. I don't use that system anymore, and I think I broke it replacing thermal paste? Anyway, I use NixOS btw and have 8 cores 16 threads btw and RX 6800 and 64 GBs of RAM btw oh did I tell you I use NixOS btw?

I mean I think the stack for a lot of the ARM boards are about as open source I think? I would just do research and get one of those.
